regional press

Regional press is a trusted media for the community: the voice of the people. Advertisers can tap into this loyalty with communications campaigns at a local level, which enable the content to be more specific to the needs of the reader. Thanks to new mapping software, the audience and titles can be analysed according to the advertiser's brief and then, for example, regions can be targeted where there’s the need for a sales boost.

Local press also includes buying into city-based/urban freesheets including the Metro, and the Evening Standard, which changed from paid-for to free distribution for the first time in 2009. Although that doesn’t mean that it hasn’t been a tough market, with 2009 having also seen the closing down of the London Lite and the London Paper.

Our team has fantastic media relations with well over 100 regional newspapers and newspaper groups, and works closely with local titles to devise innovative and competitively priced advertising solutions for clients.
